Work out a crop's net profit per season, revenue per harvest, payback days and profit per day. Two things matter: multi-harvest crops (blueberry, cranberry, strawberry and others) are planted once and picked again every few days, so they must not be treated as single-harvest; and "per day" must divide by the days from planting to the last harvest, not a flat 28 — that is the only figure that compares crops fairly. Values follow the common 1.6 numbers, at normal quality.

Features

  • 13 crops across spring, summer, fall and the greenhouse
  • Net profit per season and revenue per harvest
  • Payback days (flagged when a season does not repay)
  • Profit per day, the fair comparison
  • Single-harvest and multi-harvest handled separately
  • Quality Fertilizer and jam / wine processing
  • A quantity per line scales the whole season

How to use

  1. Pick a crop
  2. Tick Quality Fertilizer and choose a processing method if you like
  3. Type a quantity per line (empty counts as 1)
  4. Compare the per-day figure across crops to find the winner

FAQ

Why do blueberry and cranberry need special handling?
Because they are multi-harvest: plant once, then pick again every few days (blueberry regrows in 4 days for 4 harvests a season; cranberry in 5 for 5 harvests). Single-harvest crops (parsnip, pumpkin, starfruit and so on) work completely differently. Treating a multi-harvest crop as single would understate a season's best earners several times over.
Why is the "per day" divisor not 28?
Because it divides by the actual days from planting to the last harvest (`growth + (harvests − 1) × regrowth`), not the whole season. Using a flat 28 understates short-growth crops, which finish their last harvest before the season ends.
How are Quality Fertilizer and processing counted?
Quality Fertilizer is estimated at +10% average price (the real gain depends on Farming level and the quality distribution). Processing applies only to fruit: jam is 2× base + 50 and wine is 3× base; vegetables keep their price. Processing takes time too (jam about 2.8 days, wine about 7), not counted in the per-day figure.
