Tidy up a document: delete pages you do not want (blank pages that came through the scanner, adverts someone inserted), reorder them (pull the conclusion to the front, push the appendix to the end), or duplicate one (a cover page for each of two departments). Both fields take the original page numbers — those are the only ones you have, and "the new third page, after deleting the old third page" is not something anyone can work out. The tool deletes first, then orders, so the two can be combined: drop blank pages while moving the cover to the end. Page syntax covers `1-3`, `5`, `3-`, `-3`, `odd` and `even`. Everything runs locally and nothing is uploaded.
Features
- Delete pages (written as 2,5-7)
- Reorder pages (3,1,2 moves the third page to the front)
- Repeat a number to duplicate that page (1,1,2 shows page 1 twice)
- Both fields combine: delete first, then order
- One-click reverse — the page-number fields cannot express it (`5-3` is normalised to `3-5`), so it used to mean typing every page number by hand
- Range syntax: 1-3, 5, 3-, -3, odd / even
- Reports which pages were removed, how many came out, and the new order
- Deleting everything is reported as an error rather than producing an empty file
- Nothing is uploaded and no server is involved
How to use
- Drop a PDF in
- Put the pages to remove in the delete field
- Put the new order in the order field

FAQ
- What happens if I fill in both fields?
- Pages are deleted first, then ordered. With delete `2` and order `4,1,3`, the second page goes away and then the original pages 4, 1 and 3 are arranged in that order. Both fields use original page numbers, which matters: if the order field referred to post-deletion numbering, there would be no way to tell which page `3` means. If the order lists a page that was deleted, that entry is skipped rather than leaving a gap.
- How do I duplicate a page?
- Write its number twice in the order field: `1,1,2,3` makes page 1 appear twice. The duplicate is an independent copy — same content, its own page entry — which is useful for printing one cover per recipient, or putting a form at both the front and the back.
- Can deleted pages be recovered?
- Not from this tool — the output is a new file. Your original file is never modified (the tool only reads it), so just open it again and process it differently. The output is a reassembled PDF: the page order changes, the content does not. If you want to be able to step back, keep the original and each intermediate result rather than only the last one.
- Is the file uploaded?
- No. Reordering happens in browser memory (pdf-lib copies the selected pages into a new document) with no network requests, and it works offline.
