Keyboard Layout Fixer
TextEverything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded
You meant to type привет in the Russian layout but forgot to switch, and got `ghbdtn`. This tool replaces each character with the one on the same physical key in another layout. `g` and `п`, `h` and `р`, `b` and `и` share keys, so `ghbdtn` is `привет` — and the same in reverse. QWERTY, Dvorak, AZERTY, Russian ЙЦУКЕН and Greek are supported. The direction can be detected automatically (by which layout the input resembles) or forced. Characters with no counterpart (digits, spaces, symbols absent from the table) are kept as-is and never dropped; commas and periods that do sit on other Russian keys are swapped, because they really are on different keys. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

FAQ
- Why is ghbdtn привет?
- Because the same physical keys were pressed. In the Russian layout the key for `g` is labelled `п`, the key for `h` is `р`, and so on, so a key-by-key mapping reconstructs `привет`.
- What happens to digits and punctuation?
- Anything without a counterpart (digits, spaces and so on) is kept as-is, never deleted. Commas, periods and slashes do sit on other keys in the Russian layout, so they are swapped — which is correct.
- How is the automatic direction decided?
- By which layout the input resembles: more Latin letters means start from a Latin layout, more Cyrillic or Greek means start from the other. If it guesses wrongly, pick the direction yourself.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. It is all computed in memory in your browser, no request is made, and it works offline.
