Signature Pad
ImagesEverything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded
Write in the box with a mouse, a finger or a stylus. ⚠️ Exports are **transparent** PNGs by default so they can sit on top of a document; switch the background above for white.
This is not the same as the image signature tool: that one extracts a signature you already wrote on paper, while this one lets you draw one right here and export it. Exports are transparent PNGs by default, so they sit on top of a contract, an expense form or a PDF without hiding what is underneath; switch the background if you need white. The strokes are smoothed (sample points are joined with quadratic curves through their midpoints), so zooming in does not reveal the jagged polyline that gives this kind of tool away. ⚠️ Exports are trimmed to the ink with an adjustable margin, so you do not end up with a 1920x1080 image containing one small signature and then have to crop it yourself. Everything happens in your browser; the strokes you draw are never uploaded.
Features
- Write with a mouse, a finger or a stylus, and on a touch screen the page will not scroll away under your pen
- ⚠️ Strokes are smoothed with quadratic curves through the midpoints, so they stay clean when scaled up
- Transparent PNG export by default, ready to sit on a document; white background available
- Exports are trimmed to the ink, with an adjustable margin
- Ink colour (ink black, pen blue, red) and width are adjustable
- Undo the last stroke, or clear everything
- Exports honour the device pixel ratio, so they are not blurry on a high-density display
- A hint appears when the ink is too short, so an almost blank image is not exported by accident
- Everything runs in your browser; the strokes never leave it
How to use
- Write your name in the box, with a mouse, a finger or a stylus
- Adjust the ink colour and width, and the export background and margin
- Undo the last stroke or clear the board if you need to start again
- Download the PNG
FAQ
- Is the export transparent or white?
- Transparent by default, so it can sit on a document without hiding anything and drop straight into a PDF or a Word file. ⚠️ The checkerboard on screen is the usual way of saying this area is transparent, and it is the most common source of confusion here: it looks like a background in the preview and then is not there in the file. Switch the background to white if you need it.
- Why is the export trimmed?
- Because the canvas is much larger than the signature. Without trimming you would get a 1920x1080 image containing a small signature and have to crop it yourself. The trim accounts for the stroke width so the edges of the ink are not cut off, and leaves an adjustable margin. Set the margin to zero to sign right at the edge, or make it large to keep more space.
- Are the strokes jagged when scaled up?
- No. Pointer events sample densely, and connecting those points with straight lines produces a visibly shaky polyline that is obvious once scaled. Samples that are too close together are dropped first, and the rest are joined with quadratic curves through their midpoints, which stays smooth when enlarged. The export also scales with the device pixel ratio, so it is not soft on a high-density display.
- Does it work together with the image signature tool?
- Yes, and they complement each other: if all you have is a photo of a signature written on paper, use the image signature tool to cut it out; if you just want a signature quickly, draw one here. Both produce a transparent PNG, so either result can be used the same way.

Signature Extractor
ImagesTurn a photo of a handwritten signature into a transparent PNG. Removes the paper automatically, trims the margins, and can force black or pen-blue ink.
Round Corners
ImagesRound off an image with a radius in pixels or as a percentage of the short side (50% is fully round). Transparent PNG by default, JPEG with a fill colour.
ID Photo Crop
ImagesCrop a photo to ID sizes — 25×35 mm, 35×49 mm and US, Japanese or Schengen visa specs — at 300 or 600 DPI. Cover-cropped, so faces never stretch.
Image Converter
ImagesConvert between PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP and TIFF, with adjustable quality and size. JPEG output lays a background, so transparency never turns black.
Image Slicer
ImagesSlice an image into a grid for nine-tile posts or a tall image. Six grid shapes, per-tile padding, and names padded for posting in order.
Image Watermark
ImagesAdd a text watermark to a photo: nine positions plus tiling, with the size scaled to the image so it looks the same at any resolution.
